BAREFOOT SENSORY TRAIL

Embrace the sensations

 

Our one-kilometre barefoot trail is a great way to ground yourself and have fun. 'Earthing' is proven to ease stress, soothe anxiety and encourage restful sleep.

 

Close your eyes, meander across dewy grass and enjoy feeling different natural, recycled materials underneath your toes, Embrace the messy mud, tingling gravel and warming red cedar sawdust.

One of our guests returned smiling on his muddy feet: “I feel like a naughty child“​​​​​​​​

HAMMOCK ALLEY

Shade seekers

Find a quiet spot to rest for a while with a favourite book or a beloved podcast. Or, close your eyes and listen to the birds and the breeze through the trees. Hammocks have been shown to be beneficial in the treatment of a variety of stress and sleep related disorders for people of all ages. The gentle, calming rocking motion and the feeling of weightlessness can be an effective type of relaxation therapy.
